I like the way this article ended. It made me want to go find the blog of an under-rated writer living in a non-art center of the world. They would be writing about some subject so badly and so mundane, so as to lift it to a new status. The acidic nature of Mr. Trecartin’s work doesn't sound intersting to me, but what I give cheers to is his gesture to something better. I think expanding video art into elements of traditional filmmaking and storytelling is not so surprising but welcomed in my youtube playlist.
